Linda Hughes

Linda Hughes began her insurance career in 1986. In 1999, she co-founded Angel & Hughes Insurance.

Linda married Danny Hughes in 1977. They live in the Double Island Community and have two sons, Jeremy and Bill. They are the proud grandparents of Tucker and Max, who are the children of Bill and Melanie Austin Hughes. Linda is a member of Pleasant Gap Baptist Church.

Linda is very active in the community, currently serving a second term on the Board of Directors for Yancey hospice and has served two terms on the Board of Directors for the Yancey/Burnsville Chamber of Commerce. Linda is also very active with The Relay for Life having served as Chairman for several years and as a Team Captain since 2000.

Linda is a licensed Property/Liability agent and a Life/Health agent.
